WHAT IS THIS?

A digital card game in the style of a doujin board game. You control four

heroines who stand up to the boss. No installation is needed: just run the

exe. (You do not need Godot or anything else.)

CONTENTS

* Classic mode (control 4 characters vs. the boss Haimu)

* Story mode, Chapter 1 (Kirisame Route / Kurotsuki Route, 3 layers each)

* Character episodes (Kirisame / Kurotsuki)

* UI languages: English / Japanese / Chinese 

HOW TO PLAY

1. Extract this folder anywhere you like.

(Running the exe from inside the zip can lose your save data.)

2. Double-click DespairQuartet.exe

3. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", choose "More info" then

"Run anyway". (This appears once for unsigned indie software.)

4. Controls are mouse only. Click cards in your hand to play them; follow the

on-screen prompts.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

* Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)

* GPU with OpenGL 3.3 (most PCs from 2013 onwards)

* About 400 MB of free space

* 1280x720 or higher display
